CSS Teaser 1/250 scale from the downloads

OK, with a good turnout on my George Page I decided the Teaser designed by Adam Williams and available in the downloads. It is a one page model and quite small, but rather well designed. I am adding the small banded guns on slide carriages seen in a picture of the Teaser after it's capture. So far, all parts have fit great. I will have pictures soon, but this little guy is well worth the time.

Cool, can't wait to see the pictures!

Excellent looking model with superb graphics, should be a nice addition to your fleet.

Cheers!

Wow.....Feels very strange for the 'master' of ACW ship models to be making my design!

Hope you enjoy it!

Thank guy. Hardly a "master" there bud, just had a lot of time on my hands!

So I made the banded gun using a carved toothpick and I cheated on the stove pipe as well. That smokestack is small, but I found that a q-tip rod works great as a spindle for rolling the paper. All parts fit well! This was a well designed model, the only trying part at all was the aft hull. Even that went together with modest manipulation.

My fife has the camera today but I will have pictures of the finished armed tug up tomorrow!
