Hi,
as promised, here are some pictures. The bulkheads were glued in place and then filler was put into the space between the ribs and the overlapping planks. This caused an enormous amount of sanding, and I'm not yet pleased with it. In the meantime, I airbrushed Revell Aqua Color 382 (Wood brown) over the whole model as base for oil color wood effects, a task that I wanted to try for a long time. But unfortunately, I will have to spray another coat on it after some extra sanding... Best regards, Thorsten |

Those photos are works of art in themselves, not menioning the model itself. This is a joy to watch. - L.

Hi Thorsten,
I whole-heartedly agree with Leif - this is Master-Class art work! Looking forward to seeing some forged square nail heads later on... Thanks for sharing, Bengt |
