Another Kartonist of 1st rate........1/400
I am working on the CFM 1/250 version of this vessel and I will or shall say, can not go any smaller if I even want to try and build a card ship.
Your attention to detail, clean and precise work, edge coloring and overall build is just vonderba.........you get the idea.
Rick

Hi all,
thank you for your kind words.

I was a long time thinking about the small 3,7cm anti-aircraft-guns. JSC did a poor job here, the guns look very simple.
In the end I replaced them by the guns of the kit from Zio Prudenzio. Placed on deck they look convincing.
And I think about doing the same with the 2cm-guns...

On the last picture you can see in the background my next project: the Italian small cruiser Muzio Attendolo.

Greetings
Dieter

Hello Dieter,
Your ship looks fine in the overview (final) images.
Looking forward to your Italian cruiser.

Hello Dieter,

good choice, armaments of JSC are truly disastrous.

Hi Michael, hi Marco,
thank you.

Hi all,

as mentioned before, I don't like the very simple 2cm-guns of JSC.
So I took a drawing of the guns in a book and tried to scratch-build the gun. The first is nearly ready (painting of the base still missing), 13 more are in the process of making.

Kind regards
Dieter

Finished

Hi all,

at last I added the painted small guns and a radarantenna made of thread. And now I call this ship 'finished'.

It was a great fun to build this model of JSC, even when some parts were made very simple in the original kit and I had to improve them a little.

Best regards
Dieter

Fine work. I'd like to tackle the Graf Spee myself in the near future. I can use your log to assist me.
