Many thanks for these terrific photos of a magnificent ship, Mike.

You sure do make the rigging of the davits look realistic!

Thanks Jim.
Thanks Don.
RE: Davits and rigging ........ I thought the boats hanging over the stern on the Digital Navy prototype were dramatic, so I did the same, following the lead of the designer.

Oslabya Build Report - Completion

Hello Papermodelers,
This post marks the completion of my work on R.F.S. Oslabya. This CD from Digital Navy has been fun from start to finish. I have complete confidence in recommending it to anyone who enjoys the ships from this era. I appreciate those that provided links, images and information. It furthered my knowledge of the subject and enhanced the appeal of the thread. And of course, thanks to everyone who followed along. I hope you enjoy the final images attached.
Cheers,
Mike

Congratulations, it's a pre-dreadnought! He's beautiful; well done, Michael!

So what's next?

Cheers,

Oliver

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful Michael. Simply awe-inspiring!

I know it sounds so cliche' but this is nothing short of a museum quality build.

Well done!

Thanks Oliver,
I frequently used your terrific full-hull rendition of the same ship as a guide. You provided many excellent images to look at. Regarding the next project ……. Not sure yet. But I know it will be from the same era.

Thank you EIB: Your generous comments have been appreciated. You are one of those that has the first-hand experience of spending more than a year on a project.

Regards,
Mike

Congratulations,
Mike, you impress me with your superb work that makes me unable to resist the appeal of predreadnought. I remember about two hours drive from my house there is preserved Japanese predreadnought Mikasa. I’ll get to there for taking pictures to the detail for my in the near future predreadnought build.
