The Fox, Rowboat

Dear List Folks:
I am looking for some help, Does any one happen to have wooden Boat Magazine no. 170, I am looking for loft lines for the Fox used by Harho and Samuelsen to row across the ocean in 1890's. I found a reference to the Mag. pages 14+. The libraries in this area do not have the magazine. I found some nice pictures on the web so far plus a wonderful song about them. I want to try to make a large scale model.
Thanks,
MILES

Miles, with only $ 3,95 you can buy a digital copy of the magazine here.

Have you seen this site by scuptor Bill Osmundssen who did/is doing a memorial statue of the voyage? There are newspaper clippings of the event and a nice PDF format booklet about the trip, biographical info of the two gentlemen and plans of the Fox. And as a bonus the true log of the journey. Hope this helps.

Dear Tappi:
Spelled it right this time. I have got a fair collection of pictures and the early newspaper articals so far. The wife keeps me on a short leash for money for hobby stuff and I don't know for sure if the loft lines are in the artical or not I hope someone has seen the artical and can tell me yeas or no. Thanks for the info about the statue I hope it could be built neat to have one in NYC and one in France.
Thanks,
MILES
looking at the pictures I just found rather than the stuff I found 15 years ago it is not a grand banks dory but a double ender

Here are plans I mentioned (from the site I mentioned, maybe the same stuff that can be found in Wooden Boat). And yes, double ender it is.

Dear Tappi:
Looks like the correct fox the person who drew that plan worked on the first fox as a child in the 1890's. Think I will collect soda cans to earn the $4.00 to wooden boat mag for the artical.
Thanks so much,
MILES
now the scale question 1/12 would be 18 inches long
1/16 would fit better on a 11x17 paper
Going to go down into the basement and excavate the old drafting table
