Submarine Otsu Gata I-25 1:100 [Halinski]

Hi, this is my first ship and Halinski´s model. This is a 17 years old model, so I hope to obtain a satisfactory model. The model is 1.10 m long.

The model contains some minor errors in the alignment of parts, but for the year it was made, is of exceptional quality. For the structure I use 2mm cardboard and add several extra reinforcements to prevent the paper from sinking

This part I think will be the most problematic, so I'll use putty to fill gaps and then painted over. According Halinski torpedoes paper should be folded to cover everything, but it is almost impossible.

Here 3/4 of the total length of the submarine, along with T-27 Modelik

When I think seaplane make some modifications, to obtain a more realistic and detailed (wing flaps, engine pistons, etc).

Cheers and sorry about my english.

PS:Anyone know of any reports of construction of the submarine? I have not found any so far.

Hi and thanks for comments!

I already finished the front of the submarine, I consider that it one of the most complicated parts, so I think the rest of the submarine will have an acceptable result.

Cheers!

Papercut, I hope that this report give you courage to build the sub. They are old models, but still very interesting and with a fairly attractive!

Would be a luxury to have his older cousin, the submarine I-400 (I prefer made by Halinski)

I finished the complete hull of the submarine:

I think the work that remains hereafter is much faster and easier.
