Amen brother, but between the two tools you are looking @ $120.00 US!
But I am not sorry I purchased, they both do a wonderful job for their design. And as you pointed out makes the cutting alot easier, I never was any good @ cutting out circles, hard as I try, I always windup w/a oblong looking circle.

Hope to post some photos later this evening of the glued up frame, I also plan to add a few card strip stringers to help fill in the shape of this funky hull.

Well as promised, a few photos of the frame work.........is just mocked-up, not glued yet. There are a few areas that require a bit of tweaking. I also want to add some additional hull side support as well w/stringers.
The railing you see is AdvantCard.biz, will use this for the railing.
The coin is a British 10 Pence, have no idea where I got it from, probably as change thinking it was a US quarter?

The images of the frame (above the waterline) certainly do have a unique appearance. The closest thing to it is another French vessel: Massena.

Hi Rick,

Hull looks impressive, especially with that massive bow.

Looking forward to your progress.

Ciao Andrew

Ciao Andrew
Progess has stopped, had the bug all week now, hope to start back on here by the weekend.
Glad to see you looking in Big D.
