Thanks Danny.
Most people just think on these great ships just as ocean liners and not about their history. I prefer to tell their history, that is far more interesting, " at least it is to me".
Like, that in WWI the HMT Olympic was the only merchantman to sink a u-boat.

Have a great day.

Jim, you mentioned you had "corrected the gun placement to their real world positions as apposed to was was described in the instructions."

Haven't you incidently mixed up the instructions with the 1915 Olympic model?
(I noticed you have used the 1915 display label )

The 1918 manual does describe to place the guns where you have placed them.

Kind regards,

Jerry

You are right. Thank you Jerry. I thought I had all the instructions downloaded, missed this one. Luckily i had also had other research material.
Thank you again.

Jim,

You're very welcome

Are you planning on building the other models as well?
I agree with you as well regarding preserving and sharing the history of these fine vessels.

With regards,

Jerry

I just had to say this is a very beautiful model! I've built the regular RMS Olympic, and god that was hard. (came out well, if I say so myself). I can really see the hard work you put in! Nice!

I have a feeling this may be the 1st ship, but you have worked with card before and your skills show. I like this version and do you plain to build all the other schemes that is offered. Nice clean precise building.
