'klimek' 1950's polish tug

just thought i would share. won 3rd place in the 1/350 & bigger ship class in the recently concluded valley con 2013 in pasadena california. first time i have won any prize, ever. first model in 30 years and first time i worked from a plan and first time i tried weathering. best part was no one asked what it was made of. i don't think there was another model made almost entirely out of card stock. proud to represent card modelers among a sea of styrene!

Congratulations!

Excellent!

You also did a superb job of the weathering - nicely understated. It looks just right.

Congratulations!

Is it in 1/350 scale? or bigger?
Can You show more photos, and maybe one with matchstick, or something else showing size of model?

Regards!

Congratulation. Used to go to that show back in the 90's, glad to see it still going.
