JSC - Monika 1:250

Hi,
My name is Didier, I registered several years ago and came on the forum from time to time to have an admirative look at your models. And ... I was finally touched by the virus ! I would like to show you my first model. Of course it is the product of a beginner. This is the JSC Monika 1:250 scale. Please be honnest and give me your opinion on the model. All constructive criticisms are welcome for helping me to progress.

Hello Didier,

Nice ship you build there. For a first effort it is looking good to me. As I am a starter to (now building my second ship) I can recommend you to read the threads here at Papermodelers.

Ciao Andrew

I think you are off to a good start.
Now you are ready for a larger ship.

Looks nice to me for a first model.

You could touch up the odd areas with some water colour perhaps, but it is a really good start. Well done!

The more important question is are you happy? Because that's what counts!!!!

Many thanks

Many thanks for your posts. Yes I'm quite happy with that first model and I plan to build a second one. An other from JSC. My daughter choose the "United States" liner which is very good looking. I'll start to built her in the coming weeks, and I'll post pictures from the work to get observations and advices.

Thanks again

Didier
