Burghead

I have also posted some articles on Model Builds- Railway related- Burghead as I did not know whether to call it a Harbour diorama or a model railway.

Burghead

Here are some photographs I have taken recently of my Burghead harbour project. It almost complete. Most of the model is made from card but 3 trawlers are made from resin. the model cars and trains are also made from other materials!!!. I hope to put telegraph poles and street lighting on it.
I hope to build a model of the Prince Louis sail boat. For this I will try and convert it from the Isolda,a 1/160 scale card kit which is a free download by Gunner Sillen.

Glad to see this project continues. Your latest pictures show you have been a busy person. Great job on what must, at times, seem to be an overwhelming project.

Certainly excellent images of your town.
I really like the tiny vehicles like the tractor and car down at the landing with the small boats.
Its a pleasure to see updates on this.

Wow Bob - I could look at those pictures for hours! And that's why I downloaded them all. Great atmosphere there, subtle and consistent palette of colors you use. The last picture could be a painting. My admiration to you Sir.

Burghead

Thanks for all your positive comments. The model is to N Gauge, the buildings and ships are to 1/150 scale as it is easier to convert when rescaling.
