Thank you all for nice words

Sorry for being absent for so long, but I was busy...

Anyway, I've but plaster on the hull, made the ''windows'' to which I used old x-ray photos and rings from Haliński.

I decided to paint the hull because I want to put extra stripes of armoured plates, which are absent for original kit. I had problems with fitting parts, but that's probably because I made a mistake somewhere. Everything else is going well

Regards,
Adam

Hello Adam.
Excellent and accurate work.
Loved the portholes
I do not have the patience to do such.
Good luck
Oleg

Thanks Oleg

I am slowly making some progress. I painted the sides and now I am doing the bottom.

Best regards,
Adam

Hi, thanks for your comments

Paper Fan, First I put a layer of Humbrol gloss varnish (that's because when painting large areas of some types of paper, the water based paint will make the fine fibres of paper to ''stand out'', varnish protects paper from doing so) , then I paint it with Tamiya Grey XF-75. When it's dried I apply a layer of Winsor & Newton Matt UV Varnish, to protect colour from sunlight.
