Excellent attention to detail! I certainly don't have the patience to do that kind of detail work. I tip my hat to you, Sir. I look forward to seeing more of this model come together.

Looking good Adam, excellent attention to detail already and it's only in early stages... can't wait to see more.

Amazing work !

It's a boat that I hope to have the opportunity to assemble, the Japanese Navy apparently had some awesome machines!

I notice a small detail (pics 5 and 6) that stands in the front of the boat hull, is part of the model?

Thanks for nice words

John, do you mean the ladder steps? These I made by myself, they are not in the kit, but the are easy to make. It's just brass wire

Best regards,
Adam

Hello!

I slowly move forward with this build... Anchor, steer and sides are 'work in progress', plus all the railings, sets and all that stuff.
I want to make open-close bulkheads and the stairs to the lower deck, do you guys know what colour the stairs in Hiei were painted?

Best regards,
Adam

As always, beautiful and inspirational workmanship. You're making me want to build another ship.
