Finally managed to sort out what happens to the hull sides under the bridge almost. Got tired of drawing the slots on Richelieu's new hull.

Barry there's a lot going on under the flight deck there. Looks like lots of angles and contours. That will be a challenge to plate.

Good luck with your continued progress on Richelieu. That additional work on the formers is bound to pay dividends.

Hi John

Still trying to work out how to build the hull the flight deck has not changed I've been adding bits and pieces probably to avoid fixing the bow and the port overhang with regards to fixing it to the hull sides.

This is how it stands.

Barry: You sure are ambitious! The island construction should be interesting, not to mention the hull.

Well originally I said 1/300 but I got so bogged down in Richelieu that Enterprise is a long way off although I have finally got the info on the lifts and stern that I needed. Kirov has so many decks my brain is reeling in spite of or because of the good plans I have. I feel like building something small again for a change Richelieu is almost a walk around job.

How about the V&W class Escort/Destroyer? Considered by many to have the finest handling of its type and the real work horse of the Atlantic convoys. I have a some references but no hull sections.
