Submarine Explorer 1:200 Scale
Gents
I present my build of Rocketman Tans model of the submarine Explorer: The original model has been rescaled down to 1:200 scale, to fit in with my other boat models. She was printed out on 90gsm paper using a laser printer at work. The pages were given a coat of matt varnish. Any structural parts were laminated to 1mm card. The base uses 2mm self-adhesive mount board. I didn't realise the original submarine still exists, albeit in a bit of a state: The Submarine Explorer | Waitt Institute And finally a link to the builders site: RocketmanTan on deviantART Tim |

Looks like something out of a Jules Vern novel!

Oh, my, it looks like the real one isn't going to last much longer. Thank goodness we have the model.
Very nicely done.

Yes, looks like it needs just a little more than a new coat of paint!
