I'd vote along with the rest - just because "Giulio Cesare' " sounds cooler than Portland :D

I am very glad to know that one modeler is going to be a small scale ship fellow.
I will root for you!!!
Please be careful about stiff neck and shoulder
BTW, my next ship will be 1/300 since I am traumatized by even 1/430 build:o

Joe, I've seen your Portland before over at Modelwarships' gallery. Excellent work! You can see why I like that model. It's excellent. It might be tough at 1/500 though.

Yeah, Jim K. is the master of micro-scale. His work is astounding.

Yu, thanks for the encouragement. I'll watch out for the dreaded stiff-neck. I've built many 1/700 plastic ships and even carrier's with complete airwings at that scale, so I know what you're talking about.

I've made up my mind, with everyone's help of course. And I agree. Cesare' it is! I've got some details to wrap up on Arizona, but within the next month, I'll start Cesare' and start a build-thread here for everyone to track.

Thanks to all of you for your encouragement and support.

Well, I really Italian warships, but I sure would like to have seen you do Portland, since I like U.S. treaty cruisers even better.

Either way, your build will be a treat to watch, no doubt.

Don
