I kind of figured. I originally bought it from an eBay seller link rather than that site because I was sucked in by the ship itself and photos (the site was on the title card). I know it's a real GPM kit that the scan and print was based on so I will still build it. I'm hoping I don't have to rebuy it just to get a clue how to start.

In case you need to repurchase the kit

as this is one of your first paper models, I would suggest using the already bought kit to learn how to build paper models, asking questions, and such.

and when you want to tackle a proper kit, we can help you with that as well

Would you mind letting me know what the links are with regards to technical information. I'd assume the lifeboat paddles and laser cut frames are extras to enhance the original kit which is the first link. Are laser cut frames made of a different material like wood?

The laser cut formers are similar in texture to a beer mat/coaster
you can even get a resin hull if you wanted to convert the kit to a RC version.

The photo etch sheet(s) are for the extra fiddly bits, oars, radar dishes, thin gun barrels.

I am not a ship modeler, so I don't have much knowledge towards documentation sites, but I do believe that some of our Polish and German friends have built this kit, and might have build threads on various Germand and Polish paper modeling sister forums

Paper modeling skills take time to develope, there is no getting around that. I would suggest you shelve the kit and buy a destroyer like ORP Grom or ORP Byleskia. These are fine ships with moderate equipment and great to hone skills on. I have a friend who's 1st model was USS Alaska. I warned him to start small. He's a great modeler but Alaska bested him and he's never come back. It simply took too long and he bored of it.

Also, the Chinese print will likely fade to nothing quickly, I'd advise painting the model.
