I have started my very first paper ship model thanks to the advice I have received from you. I am building the JSC 1/250 kit of the Goeben, rescaled to 1/350. I have included my first two photos and will update this as I go.
Again, thanks for all the advice so far! Bill Morrison |

Looks like a very good beginning. That's a really fine display board.
So far, the work looks very clean and precise. As one who has yet to complete a satisfactory paper ship model, but loves maritime history and ship models, I look forward to seeing more. Don |

I'm making progress. I put the longitudinal supports in place. Tomorrow, I will get a start of the frames. You guys are right; I am having fun with this!

I have completed one-third of the frames. This is almost like building a wood plank-on-bulkhead sailing ship model!

Nice progress. From what I have read, it seem plank-on-bulkhead sailing ship hulls are quite difficult, even for experienced builders. Perhaps more difficult than card models. Mike |
