Question Scale a 1:32 to a 1:200?

I have a 1:32 scale of the CSS David that attacked the USS New Ironsides. I would like to make a diorama of the CSS David and the USS New Ironsides. Heinkel Models has a great USS New Ironsides in a 1:200 scale. Can I change my 1:32 David to a 1:200 and if so how do I print it out? THANKS!

Print the 1:32 model at 16% to get the 1:200 scale.

32/200 = 0.16 or 16%

Detail might suffer with that much of a reduction.

Your results might be better if you re-scale both to 1/100...

I'm really a newbe at this re-scaling thing. I looked at my printer settings and could not find a setting? I'm sure it can be done, I just don't know how!

Every brand is different. Here is the path for Canon printers. Note that 20% is the smallest scale.

Rikhardr,

What programs are you using to open/work with your files? Depending on the program, there might be some scaling settings in them.

It would be easyer if you learned to use an image editor as photoshop or corel. Any of then lets you rescale your pieces

Also, you might want to rework some of the rescaled parts because you won't be able to access them due to their tinyness. And don't forget to scale the paper thickness, too
