Orel 1/200 Sevastopol
It has been 4+ years since my first (and last) build of an Orel ship model. This one has been in my stack since that time. I am just now getting to it.
This particular model is the "white" version that has some color issues. The hull is a tad pink and the deck sufaces are pale yellow. I thought about monkeying with the colors, but have decided to build it as is and see what I get for my efforts. To facilitate my build, I purchased laser cut frames and details for it. My hands are already thanking me for the frames...  greg

Great "work" on the ship's frame. lol You'll have to say something bout the publisher. I saw/see that they have some interesting kits out. And love the pre-dreadnaughts! I'm sure this will be another fine addition to your fleet.

Thanks for the support and interest! I have the bottom hull plating done and am currently working on the upper hull sides. I have a problem with the first one and will be soliciting ideas for a fix. Unfortunately pictures will have to wait until later, probably tomorrow to show progress and dilemma.

Pictures of my progress. Hull bottom plating and side plating started. There are two pictures of my boo-boo before and after repair attempt. Hoping this issue is masked as more stuff gets added...

She looks great. Those pre-dreadnoughts have some seriously complex shapes.
I have a couple of Tsarist ships in my pile, so I will be watching your progress. russ...
