Too bad. I use wax paper (for cooking) on both sides of my laminated sheets when I'm pressing them. I've yet to find a glue that will stick to the wax paper yet.

Finally the replacement sheets arrived, so on we go.
The aft deck was glued to the skeleton. Doors, window frames and window shields were doubled. I cut off the bottom tabs of the superstructure walls and used a ground plate instead to glue them in shape. Then the were fixed to the deck. After that the front deck could be attached.

I couldnīt wait to close the hull. So I started with the port side. I punched the portholes and glued the three sections into place. The fitting was alright, small wrinkles at the stern I will try to conceal a little.

Hi Hans,

Excellent progress on your project despite the mishaps with the deck. Certainly a colorful and interesting camouflage pattern with those bright recognition stripes on the forward deck. Looking forward to the next updates.

Oh yes. Another good looking piece of work comming out of your shipyard. Glad to see this boat is underway again. And I like that red/white design to keep their own planes away.
