@Michael, the hull is certainly complex but well designed. For the waterline parts, the instructions suggested to build the bow and the stern as separate pieces putting together the respective starboard and port sections and to add them afterwards to the the bulwark framework (post #7, pictures 7 and following). This is always a difficult part in my opinion but this solution helps a lot to shape the parts correctly.

What a great build! I have thought about building this kit with full lighting installed. Thanks for sharing with us. Your recomendation helps with the idea of aquiring this model. Great work!

Beautiful build! This is on my "to do" list.... I am working on HMV's USS Maine - love building it despite my numerous errors! Great work!

HMV models are superb, I got my first one a couple of years ago (the Mellum) and now most of the models I build are from them.
