Hello Corbin,
your report is very interesting and your model is of excellent quality. I really hope you'll resume the construction, at this point it's certainly worth the effort!! Cheers, Tommaso

Hello!
Let's go!! The first stage of the construction is the hull. Three longitudinal and 21 transversal bulkheads are assembled on a large base plate. Six additional longitudinal frames will have to be mounted (figures 1-2). The asymmetric bulkhead near the center will house the side interior assembly (Einbausatz EB1, figure 3). The last frames and the EB1 are integrated in the framework (figures 4-5). Some details of the bow (figure 6) and of the stern (figure 7). A small lateral doors allows for a look inside the EB1 (figures 8-11). Cheers, Tommaso

Hello!
Let's go on with the next step of the hull. The inner deck, which spans for two thirds of the hull, from the stern to the bulkhead 15, is cut and glued on the frame (Figs. 1-2). The bulkhead 5 features already a small part of the inner wall (fig. 3); the remaining parts are built at this stage. They consist of an after (fig. 4) and a forward part (fig. 5), on which several small pieces like doors and life vests are glued. Fig. 6: I replaced the printed glass in the tridimensional porthole with transparent foil. Fig. 7: the final result; all in all, the two walls consist of 128 parts! Cheers, Tommaso

Hello!
Here is a small update in the construction. Some wall cabinets are built (figs. 1-2) and added to the inner walls (fig. 3). The walls are now glued in their position on the deck. Cheers, Tommaso

Hello,
here there are a few pictures to conclude the year. The wall cabinets are glued to the walls (fig. 1-2). It's now time to move on to the outer walls. The parts are mostly located on sheets 12 and 13 and require an extensive cutting work on the many openings, before being cut out (fig. 3 - 4). The parts of the transom are also prepared (fig. 5). And now it's holiday time! Merry Christmas, happy new year and see you in January!
