USS Independence LCS-2

Here are a few shots of my USS Indepence paper model Jonny was so kind to send me.

Overall the model was fun to build and I would reccommend it to those who love warships. I also love the 1:300 scale helicopters she came with. The only thing I found diffciult were the railings, especially in the back.

Phots from when I was building her:

Excellent build Mathew. I've still not started on the ship ... I just built the Helicopters ... but that's mainly what I wanted it for.

I think you have misinterpreted the Fork lifts a little though. You have put the lift forks upside down, and on the wrong end.

Picture of one of mine ...

Tip ... If you do cut out and separate the forks like I have, coat them with CA glue to stiffen them up. They can then be glued on in an elevated position, and cary a load.

Keep on snippin' ... Johnny.

Cool build. It is a strange-looking vessel, but I guess we better get used to shapes like that....
