The new MFP D by CFM also has the 90 angle, and I know for sure that this model is very well researched. I've even found one picture of the real thing (note, that the boat actually has fallen dry on the beach): Again, no traces of the curved transition. So, no worries, mate! Michi

Well, the Italian ones had the border rounded for sure (for example the one preserved in the Arsenale of Venice) both first and second series. As a matter of fact this was probably the main reason I went through the scratch built process. Anyway, the Italian barges had other differences compared to the Germans one.
Here is the safe boat completed. |

The model is very very beautiful, (I know the difficulty you had in finding the appropriate documentation), however, mine is not intended as a criticism but he wants to be a suggestion, i believe that the ramp is not up to the rest.

Well, Matt, if you mean the interior of the motozattera I have to agree with you. It was too large and I couldn't fix it, so I had to cut with scissor it... Not a very good fix, but it was mainly hided so... Yes, I'm a bit lazy. More than that you can see that the wall of the interior are in two pieces: another mistake I made and, worst than that, I used another printer to print those. As a result they are in different colors. As for the ramp itself, I used the draw I found in Betasom from Bagnasco. The top was covered in wood, I should have used a better texture, just a question of few minutes work, but I forgot to do it. I still have to learn how to use Gimp in a better way... maybe for the Tigre.

The model is now practically finished. These are the base, the propellers, and some pictures together with the Papa to appreciate the different dimension.
