R.N. V.Alfieri 1:400

Near the completion of Tegetthoff I started thinking about my next project. The eye fell on an Italian ship and more specifically the RN Alfieri. a model is present at the site of Prudenzio in 1:200 scale but as usual in my familiar reduced 1:400. The hull is completely finished and I apologize in advance for the terrible photos taken with the phone. This ship will be built during the lunch break while at home I will continue with the construction of my main battleship.

Hi Marco,

it's a good looking hull, that will be a nice ship. Will one day the Zara follow?

Greetings
Dieter

hello Don, Dieter and Joe. Thanks for your support.

Today I have done the bow of this little destroyer. A lot of work with the small pipe vents.

Looks beautiful, Marco, and at such a small scale. You are a master.

Thanks Joe and Dieter, thankyou very much for your compliments.

After many attempts, the seventh round I managed to make the first main cannon. The difficulty has been in giving the particular rounded shape to the shield of the gun but in the end I think I have succeeded in the challenge.
