Scorpene class submarine, scale 1/400.

Another 1/400 project is French (designed by DCNS) SSK Scorpene class. Modern submarine, with advanced fire control system, torpedos and anti-ship missiles. Powered with typical diesel-electric system, or with AIP.
Scorpene is offered to the Polish Navy, so the model will perfectly suit my collection, among Kobben and Kilo class actually in service.

The model is much easier than Kilo class I think, and the only hard-to-build element is the conn roof:

The hull is simple shaped cylindrical form with conical stern:

Next is fore section and light-hull on the midships.

The kit will include white version (test or custom painting) and colored version. Also, the kit will allow to build two different hulls: ~62m long CM2000 (diesel-electric) or S-BR ~76m (Scorpene-BRazil)

The ligh-hull consists of two long elements, supported from inside with three formers:

First element fixed to the hull. First element of fore section is also fixed - to support the light-hull. I decided not to torture my printer, and the model is simply painted with black Pactra:

The prop:

The hull is ready, now fore section:

The conn. Roof could be done better:

Astounding craftsmanship and mastery in designing, as usual.
