The models are very similar, aside from Hiei, and I love the subject matter. Angraf in my opinion has gotten a bad rep not deserved. Anyway building the 4 simultaneously has ultimately saved me a lot of time. 4 BB's in just over 2 years. Normally it would take 4 years if built back to back. The process has also helped to keep my interest at a higher level, especially with the smaller more tedious parts.
I plan to build my two new plastic Trumpeter kits Missouri and Hornet next in 1/200. Those should go quick. Plastic modeling is simply easy after working this medium for a while. Joe

Been awhile since I have updated this post.
I have nearly completed Hiei and am rapidly closing in on finishing Kongo so I thought I would post a few images, Hiei still needs the main derrick while Kongo has plenty of smaller white spots to clean up. I am thinking mid January to finish and plan to build Angraf's Zuiho next. Joe

Looks good, just like the first two. Nice to see no degradation in quality over all the time this has taken you. Be sure to include beauty shots of all four grouped together when you're finished please.
