Hi Jim,
Coming right along with this one. I know what you mean when it comes to the stern end of things on some of these ships. Working on the back end first may be the way to go. Both of the answer Models kits that I have started on seem to require work if you start at the bow and go to the stern. I may have to try working in reverse, it sure would avoid the dreaded triangular fill in piece.

I wasn't sure before, but now that it's on I'm liking the green color too.
Some of the parts sweep above the deck so I may have to trim, but I'm leaving them for now. Luckily, the parts ended up being slightly too long and all i did was trim the backs of the bow parts off and make a small one to sqeeze in between the bottom two bow plates. Overall, I guess I'm OK with it and I do like this hull red much better than the colors that came with the kit. I think I got spoiled with the Answer Isuzu - everything fit so nicely. Done with the hard part of the hull now (I think) and it's time for a bit of sleep.

In the office I was unable to settle down to work in an excess of anxiety how you solve the problem though I believe you can.
This is the way what I expected. Bewdy! Now I can buckle down to work Still do you want to take up something boxy after this?

Jim -- You solved that bow problem with style. It looks great and I am relieved that you have alleviated Yu's anxiety so that he can get back to work. It's fun for us duffers to see you two masters of the craft at work and interacting.
