I'm actually wondering about a build(s) you have in progress but that's water under the bridge or over the dam, or damn! these metaphors are tough.

Nice looking build and I'm glad to see updates on her. Interesting ship.

Why do people want to model portholes? I'm curious.

Actually, Carl... I'm currently building ventilators for Lavoisier and Galilee. And they are going together very very nicely. I'm really impressed with these parts, nice to have some good fitting parts for a change! I'll have photos shortly in that thread. But other than a couple of beta builds, I've never started a model I didn't finish since I was around 4 or 5. I don't know if you ever saw Repo Man, but as Lite said - Dat's one o' my rules, nowutI mean?

Unfortunately, modeling has taken a back seat to job lately... Well, only a child seat - I hate corp politics.

Please, Repo man? I was delivering pizzas at the time if you see the connection. Good movie. I'll wait, patiently - no wait a sec, I'm not patient at all - for updates. But go ahead with Zuikaku, I don't mind watching her build.

Alright, Kevin. No I'm not that patient either... I'm getting frustrated with this crap at work. Fine CEO, you go make 12 mil in 2008 and wow - lets layoff 10% of the HQ to boot. These other saps can just work that much harder.

Yeah, Pics... shortly. I've been peeling paper on some of these tiny tubes of yours. If Chris does print some of your stuff... Damn, make it French. I like your Brit stuff, but...

Oh, and other buids builds I'm thinking of. Halinski liberty ship and Orlik M/S Ziemia Szczecinska. Whatever it is, but bulk commodity carriers do something for me! Plus a couple Halinski tanks are pulling my heartstrings...

Jim: I admire your productivity. You have all these projects going, and more waiting in line. I suggest you hire some assistants, and just supervise the whole crew.

Here, I've got a small update on Zuikaku. Another layer on the cake, I'll be on the flight deck pretty soon.

Progress looks good. I like the weathering on this kit - looks very realistic to me.

Nice work Jim. Good progress on this big boat. The green color scheme makes this project stand out. Its something I have always admired when viewing models of some of the IJN carriers. I don't know if any other navies used it on their flat tops. I assume it was standard for those operating in the tropical south pacific.
