I wanted to offer my long-term project. The classification and collection of all ships produced so far in this forum. For now it is only a sketch, and the list is in jpg because I could not even find a way to expound on this forum sheets excel. Any suggestion is welcome for complete information.

Don't forget Strk's sub builds and Hiob's IJN Hiei:

IJN Hiei Japanese Battleship (GPM 1:200)
Kilo class submarine, scale 1/400
ORP Wilk - diesel-electric submarine Foxtrot class, scale 1/200
Kobben class submarine, scale 1/400.

This kind of thing is very useful, and difficult to do. I have tried developing similar lists for Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm 1945-1960 aircraft and armored cars. One problem is that you are painting a moving train: new ship model threads appear all the time.

Nonetheless, I applaud your work so far, and the addition that have already been suggested.

Thanks very much for taking on this task and for sharing the results of your research.

Don

Marco, it will be easier if you chance your goal to something like ships with forum moviment since march 1rst or something like that.

Because your list, for example, doesn't includes the three BB-63 Missouri that were in the
forum recently, including mine that was finished this week.

Leaving this alone, your idea is interesting. I'll be waiting news

Just a random idea-why doesn't someone design a system so that when a new ship build thread starts it automatically updates the excel sheet...
The spreadsheet looks good so far!!!

The Ocean Liners

What an ambitious project, Marco!

I was glad to see that you have incorporated the links to the threads as well.

A suggestion: You might want to include all the marvellous RMS Titanic ocean liner model builds, from the impressive and very detailed 1:200 models (GOMIX-Fly Model, Schreiber-Bogen, Maly Modelarz) down to the minute 1:1200 scale ones (for example from Ralph Currell)? Many have been built by members of this forum over the years. For example by another Marco...

The 1:400 scale S. S. Californian is also a particularly nicely designed and well built model.
