USS Monitor 1:200-Heinkelmodels

I've seen many versions of this boat, very simple versions with little detailed cover. All designers have their own version of this model. Me too.
This is my version of the uss monitor, the full version.
I hope you enjoy it.
The model is available on my website.

Hi, Heinkel

it's one of the most interesting and for some particulars "unusual" version of Monitor. Nice project and nice building !!!

Compliments from my side !!!

BTW...Just a little question... I have noted that your avatar is the picture of CSS Stonewall in the period when she was still in american ownership.

Do you have you thought to put in production such ship in paper version?

CSS Stonewall is a very interesting vessel, also when she was in the Imperial Japanese Navy as Kotetsu/Adzuma...

I have built, about 7-8 years ago, a static model in scale 1:75 of this ship, that was really a "strange looking vessel"... never seen before in any ship models exhibition here in Italy... and I still have this model in a special place in my house and when I bring it to a new exhibition she raises a lot of interest from people and modelers.

Write you soon

ciao

Jp

Really nice Monitor, The sinking version I believe. The detail is VERY good.
On a technical note I believe (from my Photo inturpretation) that the Pilot house is too high off the deck. I think it's the pyrimid. (I am an incorregible Techno-nitter, so ignor this because the Model is EXCELLENT)

That said the model is a plesure to behold

Hi
When you'll plan to put in into production, please advice me.
She will be a nice company to my wooden model of this ship.

Ciao and again compliments for the Monitor.
