Stunning work! Better than anything I could hope to achieve but something to aspire to! Just perfect all the way around.

Hello to you all;

first of all I've to thank you for your nice comments. The last days were filled in with the production of tiny small things ... Very tricky was the wooden barrel behind the breakwater - I've no idea for what it was used in lifetime of the boats. If one of you have an idea - please let me know...
I gave the boats a different appearance - the small anchor davit is on one boat fitted and on the other stored in front of the breakwater; I did the same with the rack for the waterbombs ... most of the 2cm Flak is made from etching parts; Peter Hurler has it designed.
Tonight my boats are commissioned; all things aboard - only the parts I cannot realize from cardboard are waiting for the etching parts frame - I'm workin' on it ..
tomorrow I'm switchin' to the TSINGTAU - cranes and tiny little things are waiting for me.
I thank all visitors and commentators for their guidance and lovely comments - that' for the moment.

With lovely greetings
the Wilfried

Those are superb torpedo boats. I can't wait to see them lined up next to Tsingtau.

... at that time, there was 17, 19 crew members on that boats ... when on duty they run and hit .. the activities on sea are no longer than 24 hours. Most of the time, they're waiting on hidden places.. I attach a pic, you can see the dimension of the wooden barrel ...

With lovely greetings

Sorry Don,

they're are not torpedo boats; they carry torpedos, that's right .. but they're very small and very fast. To give you an imagination of the dimension; one of the biggest parts on this boat is the 2 cm anti-aircraft gun ... the length over all is o.456 inch ...

With lovely greetings
the Wilfried

No idea what the barrels are for, but you've made a pair of beautiful vessels.

Hi Wifried,

That is some seriously excellent workmanship in those two little S boats. As Don pointed out they will make great companions to the mother ship.
