Hello JohnMGD.
I'm already confused by your's words. :-) Everything is much simpler: in my past life I was a naval architect. Add here computer software and the development of the ship becomes from job to entertainment. About your question. 1st - The frames and skin I made from coloured paper 0.3 mm thickness (in this case - white). The trade mark in Russia is Murillo. 2nd - I fixed a stroke (or frame) on the TEMPLATE of frame firstly banding it on shape of frame and then glue frame on template but only in two points - below board line (in this stage of body's construction keel is on upper side and board (a gunwale) is in lower side of slip (I mean dinghy construction place). Frame is on the template must be seat rather tight. If you send me plans of your dinghy I will try to make it. In any way I could try to develop a technology of building of your boat. And in the end. Pardon me for my English. But it's better one time to see. So this is link to my site where I described this technology: БÐК-МоделиÑÑ‚ * PSG-Modeler • ПроÑмотр темы - French longboat's transformation from 1:48 to 1:72 scale. If you will have any questions please without any hesitate let me know. I will try to help you. And most end - Happy Easter to you and yours!
