Thanks Joe!

Added the ropes to the ship's boats onto the davits. I learnt a lesson here in boat positioning as these should likely sit vertically but were all on an angle (at least to my mind). I probably should have used this to position the boat > lesson learnt for future builds.

Next it was the davits on the bow and the anchors. The anchors seemed a little large for the size of the boat (perhaps scaled off capital ship) but didn't look too bad so I used. The chain is ~1mm links I got from the local hobby shop. The problem I had here, which you can see in some photos was that with the davit, chain, rope and anchor all black it can be hard to differentiate between the parts unless the light is good > this is another lesson for future.....

Finished!!!!

After sorting the chains/anchors on the bow and adding the flag I'm done. Despite some little imperfections in the build (non-horizontal boat ropes in particular) I'm really happy with the build and it looks great. This was a nice straightforward kit that really does look amazing with very little effort....well done CT !

Please see final photos....

Thanks CT and Lighter,

It's been a crazy week, three different cities and also got my US work visa. I've now got 7 weeks to pack up and move the family to the other side of the world! Exciting but crazy. As for what is next I'm doing a test build for CT (now underway, photos soon). This will be my last build for a little while as moving will no doubt get in the way of paper modelling!
