Thank you Avraham! I realised I missed TWO horizontal steering planes (stern) however I disagree with U212 pretending to be Dolphin I (the conning tower!), however I understand that modification of Revell kit would be very difficult, without being familiar with resin.

Once again: thanks.

Thanks.

Meanwhile, steering planes (2 in the midship and 7 stern!), and conning tower glued to the hull:

Thank you. The scale is perfect for modern subs I think.

1/400 pros:
-short build time
-small quantity of parts
-simple construction
-size of the model, even in case of large SSBNs/SSNs
-the whole collection dont need lot of room (currently 7 subs are displayed on my Sony DVD player)
-economy, the model is ink printed on single A4/Ltr sheet
-1mm heavy cardboard is not neccessary

Cons:
-lack of details (but 1/200 modern subs are also low detailed, this is the nature of their design)
-depending on the design, some parts are difficult to shape
