USS Honolulu
Hi There,
I want to design USS Honolulu (same class with USS Los Angeles) but lack of information on her. Anybody have some detail like panelline or paint scheme or marking for me to finish her? Your help is my pleasure.

There would be essentially no panel lines because of the all-welded construction. Hatches and access panels would be virtually invisible if you are doing it at less than 1:100 scale but could be represented with grey lines. The colors of all SSNs and SSBNs during my service on USS Benjamin Franklin (SSBN 640) in the 1970s was black. The lower half of the hull was hull red with an indistinct demarkation from red to black, the black being oversprayed on the red. Periscopes, masts and antenna were light blue-grey with a random mottled black pattern. Photos taken shortly after delivery or while undergoing trials will show the hull number in white on the sail and the name in block letters at the aft end of the turtleback. When in service the ships displayed no identification markings or numerals, these being painted over in black. Draft marks were displayed in white numerals at the bow and stern. The screw was unpainted and was a bronze color. Take a look at the "Yankee Modelworks" website for photos of their models. The colors look authentic to me. I hope this is of some help.
