Hello JP,
The Peresvet continues to look good.
Of course, I'll keep an eye open for the new "secret" project.

I love these big ugly ships if I had enough skill I'd have a house full of 'em though my wife would not be impressed.
Great looking build thanks

pretty cool! The mess of anti-torpedo boat guns and the lack of anti-aircraft guns give this giant an interesting look!

Yes... I bought the "official" kit....not a copy downloaded by a strange site.

So, put a great care in cut and measure but the mistake was there...

Anyway I have to admit that the paper quality and the print is really good...
Perhaps I prefer the deck planks more "tanned" that colored in this yellow tone..but it's ok so.

ciao

Jp

Hi... I used a layer of 1 mm cardboard under the paper deck, gluing the paper on the cardboard using a spray glue...

ciao

Hi, Bumbury...

If I can suggest.... the 160g paper is good for a lot of structures, but it hasn't enough strength for the bridge...

You should glue the deck paper on cardboard, using a cardboard from 0,5 to 1 mm thickness.. not more and not less.

I also suggest you to use a spray glue (the permanent one...not the not-movable type) to glue the deck to the cardboard....that you can buy at artist shop (I use one produced by 3M and a can is enough for many models...)

The advantage when using this glue is that avoids any "wrinkle" on the paper.

Don't forget, anyway, to put over the laminated pieces some weight (possibly very flat like heavy books...I use the volumes of a very old encyclopedia that are big, large and heavy.... )

Have a nice modeling

ciao
JP
