That is a good looking model, and well made too.
I am curious about the color scheme, as I am used to seeing other colors used for the casemates and decks of ironclads. Can you give me sources or reasoning? I am not disputing your choices, just trying to learn. |

The color scheme is based on a watercolor attributed to Midshipman Dabney M. Scales, which shows the Atlanta during trials.
