Looks good Werner
The LC parts I used for the Prince of Wales were a little bit too small all around. Looking at your build the LC parts for the Naiad are correct. Will follow with interest ! Thanks for sharing |

@Longbow
@sharunas thanks for comment and now I will continue with the next steps. First I had to input the anchorholes and fit the lengh. On portside you can see the closed side and it fits very good. The only fly in the cintment are the colors; I think they are printet too dark. The original colors will be right, but modelling colors should be lighter |

Now I will continue to cover the hull beginning with the middle of the port and the extra plating.
You see also the round rear. It covers some rear bulkhead. |

I Werner,
Very nice job you are doing there. My question is about the thickness of the different parts we can observe. What are they made of ? Are they directly from the manufacturer GPM, or do you glue them on the paper parts ? Sorry for that basic question, but I do not have a lot experience yet and I do not still know GPM paper kits. Regards, Didier |

@Bonjour Didier
in case of Naiad the GPM company delivered the ship with different thickness of the paper.Normally I double or triple the paper to reach the thickness.On the other hand you have to split up very small pieces to reach a thinner version; for example the guns. @Fred nice to hear from you. Do you remember Mannheim @Romanmodels:Thank you now you can see the starbord side step by step. |
