Yamamoto.PMS

Not a build thread but a question.I have built Kongo,Yukikaze, and Akagi from this briliant modeller and am collecting Kirishima to build as its released but i want to get hold of his 1;350 scale Yamamoto. My understanding from his web site is that this model is only availible in Japan.Has anyone bought and built this kit and if so how did they purchase it.

which website? there is a site dl something i'll get the address from my other computer that has 1/400 scale yamato, yahagi, I 400, nagato , and 1/800 akagi and ise in 1/400/ they can be bought thru the web as downloads. they are a bit pricey but the quality is very good. they made a Kongo class b/c i bought but it no longer is on their site. when you hit their site most of the stuff is manga downloads but fish thru it and find the above.

Herky, we're you looking at the papermodel.jp website. The Yamato there has a link to Amazon japan. It is 2000 yen and by the look of things can be delivered abroad.

Hello all,

Has anyone successfully managed to order a papermodel.jp Yamato to an address in Europe? Or outside of Japan?

I have been to the Amazon.jp page but I can't log in to order it using my standard details but also the process to create an account without being fluent in Japanese (even using google translate) is basically a dead end.

Am 70% of the way through Kirishima and loved building it. I made a decent donation to his site, downloaded several others for a later date - the quality of the model is great, and the instructions and diagrams are really excellent too.

Any news advice or experiences welcome!

Regards
Alan
