Paperhino,

When I copy and paste this 판옥선 I get the following page, but when I click on Part numbers like 3 or 4 the page seems to be empty. See screenshot. So where are the instructions. I find the setup of the site very hard to follow :(

John.

John.

PS: What is the meaning of part 4, I see that part 1,2 and three are all the same files ?????
4 parts to the same file.
You must get all parts and then extract any one of them.
It will unpack all automatically as one large file.

Use 7zip to do this.

Not sure why...but I cannot find the actual file download links.
I cannot translate the page either.
Says "its already in English" lol

Look for this Dave next to a little green arrow in a gray box in the top right corner of the main page.

첨부파일(1)

Click on it and it gives you an option of what format to download (PC or Mac (i think)).

Even using 7-zip, I've yet to figure out how to open

Make sure all 4 parts are in the same directory. Use the 7zip file manager to locate the first part, and double click it. It should show you the pdf. Then click on that, the file should open. Then save the pdf to a known folder. Hope this was clear enough. Don't know if it was properly "correct", but it worked for me.

Korean Ship files combining with 7-Zip
It does not seem to work if you just click on one of the four files ending with the .00* numbers.

Here is how I got 7-Zip to collate the files and make a single pdf out of them.

I made note of where the four files were saved to ( I made a default folder for all of my downloads).

I then opened 7-Zip using the shortcut icon I have for it. The 7-Zip exe file is called 7zFM.exe so if you don't have a shortcut for it do a search and click on that to open the 7-Zip console.

I then pointed 7-Zip to where the four files were saved (I have 7-Zip permanently pointed to the Downloads folder I made and mentioned earlier).

The 7-Zip console window shows the four files and then I held down the Ctrl key and left clicked each one to highlight them all.

I then clicked the Extract button at the top of the 7-Zip window. 7-Zip then indicated a place to save the combined files into a single pdf. I changed the default location 7-Zip showed to my Downloads folder.

The four files were then combined and a single pdf was created and saved in that location. A pdf named pos_ship-140806.pdf will be created. It is a pdf that is around 57MB. 9 pages with a cover page, an information page and 7 pages of parts.
Doug helped me with this and it worked. Thank you, SCEtoAUX
