16th Century Japanese battleship: sekibune

This model was conducted as part of the work for making naval port in Sachunpo diorama.

Step 1: Data collection
Step 2: outline design
Step 3: Modify the drawing test authoring and deployment
Step 4: Painting and graphic work(this work had a friend of the team)

I think his question is about the horizontal beam in the first picture and the three supports under it.
He is wondering if the horizontal beam is the ship mast (배의 돛대).
