Thanks Ed. The "rounded" turrets on this ship are a challenge. We will see how it goes.

Hi Mike,

excellent work. I'm sure, you will master the turrets, too.

Best Regards
Dieter

Hello Mike!
I've been here a long time ago, and now big surprise of the ship. Very precise - as always ...
I look forward to the sequel, sincerely, Joe

Another museum piece. What steady hands and attention to details.

09 - Superstructure

Hello Modelers and . . .

Thank you Dieter.
Thank You Don.
Thank You David.
Thank You Joe.
Thank You Greg.
I hope the future work does not disappoint.

Here are some new images. More progress here on the forward superstructure.
Beowulf gets its first ladders. I went back to work with my ladder tool, and the results seem satisfactory.

Things get more delicate with next deck level up. All the parts in image 81 are paper, except for the deck piece itself. It is card.
Getting all eight pole supports to work in harmony can be tricky.
So some extra work was needed to get everything straight.

Regards,
Mike

Looking good there Mike.
I'm going to have to borrow your method of making ladders. The ones for my build are too simplistic.

Impeccable precision, even for self-built tools that greatly increase the precision.
Thanks for sharing.
