Hi there
Slowly forward recently I`ve been working on propellers/shafts..and all the rest of the propulsion system. And here i have to say that the propulsion system in this model is far off from the original one ...but i will live with it Classically i attach a few pics from work progress. I made Prop-shafts out of 4 mm diameter aluminium rod. Propellers are painted with Humbrol enamel No 16 Metallic. At the minute i try to match /adjust all parts before i will paint all. And here you can see how i give shape to the base of propellers by using a screwdriver And finally my attempts to match everything together I also upgraded the Rudders by making a grooves similar to the ones which you can find in the original. The pics are not the best as my camera is dying ) regards. |

Hi Marlon,
Mighty fine workmanship and excellent detailing tricks going into your build. I'm trying to work up the courage to get into another ship project myself.
