in pic 1 you can see that I extended the sheltered part of the promanade deck like it is in the original. I could not understand that other builders accepted the sealed 2-dimensional version of the kit. I just had to dublicate a bit of the alcoves with the big windows plus the wooden floor

pic 2 shows the after part of the liner with the frame offered by LKK Fay; both the kit and the lasercut parts fit smoothly. Why do so many complain about the kit? It gives you ample possibilities to modify it according to your wishes provided that the original parts fit which they do. The rest is up to the builder. By the way: I cut out all the windows and attached smoky foil behind. Looks nice and comes close to the original. What I did with the balcony cabins in the middle hull section I will tell later. The colorless top deck is just a protective cover as the original floor is extremely senitive to damages. In case a part with glue drops on the floor accidently nothing will happen.

Wow! That cost more then what I paid for my Revell Queen Mary 2 plastic model! But, the plastic is 1/400.
