Werft Diorama " Am Ausrüstungskai " - 1:250 - HMV Clubmodell 2011

Hello Friends, I start my first construction report in this forum.

The shipyard diorama from HMV is on the agenda. It provides a fitting-out is in 1925th Is equipped the Amalfi, she is already on the quay.
In usual HMV quality there on 12 sheets to process 902 pieces, a special treat is likely to be the 40 ton tower crane.
To this end, I have ordered the laser cut, which I hope will soon arrive with me.
First a little taste of two arches and two manual pages.

With joy in the construction and kind regards from Styria
Kurt

Hi friends

thank´s for nice comments !

But now we go .................

I'll start with the ship, the Amalfi. First, the water lines cover is fixed to the glass plate to prevent distortion, and glued the inside walls.
The framework for the hatches I will not quite, special dissect him, which then goes much better when installing. Rib 6a is inserted centrally.

Best regards
Kurt

Kurt,

Thank you for all the detailed photographs on your build, they are a great help. I am always a bit scared of trying to build ships! So, looking at your detailed pictures is a great help.

The use of the glass is a great idea!

If this kit was an HMV Club model, I assume it is NOT available on their site for sale?

Hello Kevin ,

I am very pleased that I can be a little help you .The work with the glass plate is very good, so the hull can not distort and will remain very flat.
This model no longer exists, because it was the Club Model 2011 from HMV. As one would have to be a member to get to these beautiful models.

it goes on .........

After installing the ribs 10 to 28 Part 29 is used. With part 31 the first ship deck comes in the game, then part 32 Step banding step.

LG Kurt

Kurt,

Thank you!

Thought so about the model!

Well will enjoy seeing you build it anyway! I especially like the "ship under construction".
