HMAS Wallaroo - Bathurst class corvette, scale 1/200

Ladies and Gents,
after long time I'm back in businnes, again with 1/200 scale model:

world war II Royal Australian Navy corvette HMAS Wallaroo.

The model is simple in design, but detailed, and it can be build as a waterline model - or full hull model. See how waterline element lays flat on the surface

Hull skin is curved in every direction and requires lot of shaping

The bottom

The anchor windlass. It consists of 33 elements

Stay tuned!

Hello Strk,
That seems like very quick assembly.
It looks very nice in that final photo.

Actually it took six evenings and one weekend preparing the parts and putting them together. Anchor windlass made me sick
The model looks very promising, and I'm going to add some weathering and shading... will be ok

Special issue of Modelarstwo Okretowe magazine, somewhere around the half of November (if I will be able to finish the model. )

Cool build of a sharp-looking boat. If one has no access to the magazine, will there be some alternate way to obtain the model, preferably via download?

Most of the European online paper model shops stock the magazine or you can purchase direct from its website...

I was hoping for a downloadable version of this vessel as well. I have significant nerve damage in my hands so an electronic kit gives me a safety net. When I mess up a part, I can replace it as much as I need to. I can't do that with a printed kit so I don't buy them any more.

Unfortunately, Modelarstwo Okretowe does not sell digital copies.
So, what you can do is to buy a hard-copy, scan it and then - print. For personal use it is legal.

Meanwhile, some new details on the foredeck and aft:
