The Bismarck

After all those years of reading all the comments of how to and how not to give critics I hereby present you my 1/300 Maly Modelarz version of the Bismarck.

excellent build. were there any problems with the maly kit? on the European sites there seemed to be small issues but they didn't seem obvious. being super critical, like contest critical, small issues; the gun barrels seem a little thick. sometimes you have to take the kit barrels and re draw them on typewriter paper to get them tighter. the cranes hanging hook thingies are curled up. sometimes you have to use straight wire to give the illusion that the hooks have weight. another way to tackle that is to have them secured to something.
Once again this is a superb build and the above only matters to the rivet counting super contest judges that have shot down other builds.

in my humble opinion the hmv version is the best, pricey but the best. This does not distract from this great build of the maly version

RE: Maly Modelarz "Bismarck"

Very well done, clean build!
However, some remarks may be allowed:
1) The 38cm guns are straight (instead of being tapered) too big and were not black,
2) At the time of being camouflaged like this, the rangefinder "ears" on gun turret A (Turm ANTON) were removed as having been rendered often useless due to seaspray.
Kind regards,-
papercaptain
