Question Flakships in paper?

The folks over at the Unofficial Airfix Modellers Forum - they build paper there too - are starting to plan their display for next year's Scale Modelworld show at Telford. The theme is Black Friday, details here: The Unofficial Airfix Modellers' Forum • View topic - SMW2016 - 'Black Friday'

One of the modelling subjects they need are some German flakships similar to this:

I had thought that I had seen something similar in paper but cannot find anything in my paper model database...just wondering if anyone knows of anything like this or perhaps that might be converted into the right style of flakship...?

Any cues or steers much appreciated

Simon

First things first: That ship isn't a Flakship (Though air defence was pretty important, of course) but a heavily armed version of the Marine-Fährprahm (MFP) landing craft. It was called Artillerie-Fährprahm (AFP), and its missions actually were anything that had to be done - convoy escort, sub chaser, ...

To my best knowledge, Wilhelmshaven only had a MFP model (and a pretty bad one, too).

There are, however, two AFP models I'm aware of - the 1/400 model by JSC (German pocket battleship ADMIRAL GRAF SPEE, artillery craft AF 85 (JSC 035) - JSC (International webstore)) and a 1/200 model in a special edition of Modelarstwo Okretowe (Artilleriefährprahm Typ D3 ( Norwegen Tarnanstrich ) 1:200).

Furthermore Michael Bauer is currently designing a 1/250 model for CFM, the main guns already done (10,5cm SK C/32 in MPL C/32, M 1:250 - Bis 1945 - Kartonbau.de - Alles rund um Papiermodelle, Kartonmodellbau und Bastelbogen) - he has already designed a 1/250 MFP for CFM (MFP808 Neukonstruktion für cfm Verlag [FERTIG] - Bis 1945 - Kartonbau.de - Alles rund um Papiermodelle, Kartonmodellbau und Bastelbogen).
